Metal Grudge
Some bad ass named Peter Kreuger created a Metal Slug-inspired “sportscar tank” that he’s dubbed Metal Grudge. It’s completely remote controlled, completely made out of Lego’s, and completely fresh.

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle... your mechanized ninja...
The RG (Recycle Grade) RX-78-2 Gundam, at nearly ten feet tall, was built from the plastic remnants (i.e. runners and part trees) of smaller Gundam kits. It took over 250 hours to create this homage to awesomeness, and we would be amazed if this came from anywhere other than Japan (secretly, our hopes are that this guy was built in a swampland warehouse somewhere outside of Baton Rouge).

Major Wood
8 Bit Wood is the brainchild of Jeff Swenty, a video game designer that’s really good with wood. Using his talents, Swenty creates “homemade pixel art” that takes inspiration from Contra, Excite Bike, and other creations from his day job. Man, Bubble Bobble is awesome.

If you want to know what to get us for our birthdays, this wouldn’t be a bad place to start.

If we were MacArthur fellows, we’d be handing our grants back in shame—we’re looking at you Stanford population geneticist Carlos...

Spy v. Spy
We’re normally not the hugest fans of Swatch, but French designer, Colette, has led us to reconsider. Maybe it’s the simple design, or the black and white colorways; whatever the reason, we want ‘em.
